Leanie how you make the white sauce for your pie? Im so bad at the white sauces lol:o
    Hi

I don`t eat chicken myself, and it`s along time since I have made one for that reason, but my OH and DS (and anyone else that might turn up) Like them.
I have cooked a whole chicken which I will strip and I have some cooked chopped veg ie Carrots swede and onions.I use a tin of mushroom soup for the sauce,I have no problem making white sauces but I think it`s a nice combination-you are not really aware of the mushrooms in the soup so if someone doesn`t like them it`s not a problem.

  • Morning everyone!

Its gorgeous and sunny here today and I'm tempted by a trip up the river but it got me thinking about something I'd read recently. As a nation of water lovers where we spend much of the hot weather in the sea or other water, I thought it might just save a life if I shared this with others.

Some of the statistics in this are distinctly eye opening!

Edit....cancel the river trip, just realised I left my roof bars in the OH's garage! doh!

Could have done with one of those the day my 2yo DS at the time (now 5) decided to undo his seat belt, slide over to the other passenger seat & open the door, while I was doing 70mph along the M62:eek::eek::eek: I have never been so scared!
do you not have child locks on the doors? if you open the door, there is a little switch, you just push it along and it locks the car door

Well, Autistic people don't know the difference between right and wrong therefore don't have any morals, I would say keep it, enjoy it, say nowt. Same if you find a wallet (like the one I found on NYE):eek:/purse/cash in the street.
I disagree my Autistic son certainly knows the difference between right and wrong!
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
  • just caught up. Will be going to tescos after I pick DS up from school to have a look for the telescope, he had one 6 years ago but with being so young he broke it so hope I get one as he loved using the other one.
I think the worst thing about it was we'd just moved into our last house when he got it aged 4yrs and was constantly looking in it. He was in his room playing, nice summer day so windows in whole street and the one behind us was the same. His room was at the back facing the ones in the next street, he started shouting at me that he could see a man with no clothes on. My first reaction was who is he looking at with the telescope my second thought was what pervert was looking at my wee boy so ran upstairs to see who was looking a my DS.
I went into his room to find that the people in the house behind were walking about naked, with no curtains on the windows. DS was shouting through the open window for them to get their clothes back on  They spotted him and got embarrassed, ran out of the room and only came back when fully clothed. Needless to say the next day they had blinds put on the windows

Try this recipe...., Mr Reformed is useless in the kitchen and once claimed that beans on toast, literally just beans in the microwave poured on toast was 'cooking'. He followed this recipe and we all loved it
