    I don't suppose these are on a 3 for 2 offer? :D

    Unfortunealty not
But I had seen them the previous day at £12 in a dif store so when I saw them labelled at £6 I was hoping for dtd but they scanned at £6 each a price I was happy to pay either way ESP as I never found any of the other dtd ones from the summer

Did you get a nurse call-back? I did today, I expect you got someone new or something, I've called with chest pains convinced I was having a heart attack, turned out to be acid reflux. D'oh!

Thanks chick, I have a routine appt set up on the 18th so will discuss it all and the anxiety with her then. This pulled facial muscle is getting right on my nerves now though, I keep thinking everyone can see it!

    PMSL.........

    Altogether now.............Asdaground Tescoground Womberling's freeeeeeeee..............

I am! I mean, I was! TBH I doubt my green light ever goes off during the day as I leave my computer on.....

mine was about 5 years ago now.. I dont remember them calling back, but was too worried at the time to care!!

Re your facial muscles...could it be Bells Palsy? I know someone who suffered from this where one side of her face 'dropped' and some of the symptoms were similar to a stroke....although i think in most cases its temporary..hers was back to normal a couple of weeks later...although he said she'd felt like everyone was staring at her....its probably more noticeable to you than others so try not to let that get you down - just concentrate on getting well :)

And I'm the same...permanently logged in, even when I'm out and about or in bed!!! :)

  • Oh just a quick one....I emailed Philip Clarke asking for the official stance on 1p,4petc items being refused sale and just received a reply

Thank you for your email addressed to our Chief Executive, Philip Clarke, to which I have been asked to respond.

I can appreciate you would like clarification as to our policy with respect to reduced goods in our stores. I apologise for any confusion caused.

Products may be reduced by individual stores or applied to all stores. As such, stores often reduce food items to a fraction of their previous cost when the expiry date is imminent. As such, this is standard practice, and staff will be aware of such reductions.

However, due to the vast range of products we carry, it is regrettable that products can occasionally be priced at the wrong price in error. As such, checkout staff are vigilant with respect to such errors, and may sometimes have to refuse a sale should it be ascertained that a product has scanned at the wrong price. Generally, this would apply to products which are non-food and/or do not have an imminent expiry date.

As such, I would be more than happy to investigate any specific cases you have experienced whereby the sale of a product has been refused. Should this be the case, please just send me the details by reply.

I trust this response helps to allay any concerns regarding our policy on reduced products.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write to our Chief Executive’s office. I do hope we can continue to look forward to your valued custom.

So it seems we will continue to be trouted on this occasion, regardless of the quote in the Daily Mail article......makes getting them all the more fun then lol

Yes DaisyDuck the ones i scanned at £25 had a pic of the little boy on them.

I dashed out as soon as I'd asked you....kids in tow in manic traffic....loads left on the shelf....gets all excited.....and they all scanned at £79.95 :(

But if they've done it in one store they're going to do it in all of them,so going to keep trying!! Thanks for the heads up! :)

Wasnt a complete waste of time...got lots of Ts own brand 'cuddle me' bits and bobs (money box, snowglobe etc) plus another Pooh Bear and a Eeyore plush toy in a mug 43p bc 5046.....was in a box high up...not marked on the shelf so dont know what SEL should be or if thisis new stock/old stock etc ;)
