In the old days when Tesco used to take MOC's even if you didn;t buy the products, me and the OH used to have little games trying to see who could get their bill to exactly zero. We did it loads of times.

Just cos its a SS doesn't make it any different.

Oh hun I missed that early I am sorry, I don't think you should feel bad though I know it won't stop you feeling that way. If you feel bad you could always ring CS or something? It was a genuine mistake and could have happened to anyone, please don't let it worry you too much x

Thank you so much everyone I feel so embarassed and like a complete and utter sap!! I think it will have come up on the SS screen though Issyc and the lady that was on SS is one of the matriarchs in there, always there, very nice lady she is and always says Hello so next time I see her I'll look like a beetroot and be having a minor panic attack! It would be lovely to think nobody had noticed but I'm sure she will have had to sort it out and I don't mind meddling with T's but I wouldn't ever want to meddle with an SA's job :A

Well, "technically" when it spits out void receipt a valid contract has not been formed. The goods still belong to the store.

But it only becomes theft if and when there is intent to permanently deprive...
