For those of us not lucky enough to have an express near them and can't get the powerade offer I did find this today 4 pack blackcurrant Gatorade £1.00. It is showing as OOS though on moneysupermarket.
Also got these 32p for 9. Oatland milk chocolate chip wafer bars. BB 15th Sep 12. I think they are even cheaper than Tesco value.

Oh, and this supposed "do not sell these items" list in the post you quoted, it doesn't exist. I've just checked with my mother who has been on the checkouts at tesco for 17 years. I'm sure they would've told her if it was real
