The queues at the normal tills were stupidly long so I was at SS. The SA there said she'd need to check so off she toddled to who I can only presume was the checkout supervisor. She finally came back but walked past me without saying a word and went to CS. From there I heard someone being paged and finally after a good 5 minutes they came back and said I couldn't use them. Told them that was fine, remove the items from the bill and I'll use them in Asda. I wasn't at SS to use them fraudulently so wasn't worried when they wanted to check them. I'll bet any money if I'd gone to a till they would have been accepted no problem. It's not like I have software to sit and create phoney coupons at home.

What were the coupons for if you dont mind me asking? Were they printed coupons? TIA

Just a quick post, think I found a new 1p item, though the sel was for 1p too. Its a go create crayon pen, a little pen shaped plastic case with 6 crayon "nibs", about 5 inches long and an inch wide b/c 678927. Will try and post a pic later if anyone wants to see it but just had the call that the kids grandad has passed away (my exFIL) so they wanna go see their dad for an hour. Be back later

Not what you want to hear but thinking back to your previous posts, you were right to tell the kids when you did. I know you & exFIL didn't get on but I hope the kids are ok.

One was for Persil and the other one was a PDF one as well (sorry being cautious and not saying in case anyone on here works in my local).

You want to see the state of the other two cars he rolled:eek::eek::eek: that is tame in comparison.

Oh yeah, there was the one where the fire brigade arrived and were setting up to cut the car to bits to get the body out. (middle of the night in the pitch black. They were gobsmacked when I walked up to them and said I was the only person in the car. They said I should have been dead but the fact I wasn't wearing my seat belt and me ending up on the back seat saved my life.:eek:

SLIGHTLY wondering how you're still alive with what looks like a severe head trauma! You must have a guardian :A HC xx

Good lord, not to ask a nasty question, but is that the front or the back of the car?

It's the front, you can see the the boot on the top because it had to have the roof cut off, he was trapped for just over an hour.

I wondered that too as it looks like the gubbins of the engine bay but the boot lid is there as well so my guess is front of car and boot lid sitting on top.

Made this about an hour ago from a 300ml pot of double cream.
I didn't strain it through muslin though as I kept tipping the buttermilk into a bowl as I was going.(and I don't have any muslin!) I just rinsed it in very cold water and dried it off.
It looks like butter and tastes like butter though! :T:TPhoto-0185.jpg

It doesn't look as yellow as JJ's.

I know the first and only time I had bother was at the SS tills the SA and her supervisor said no to my coupons. I now use manned tills and never have any bother if they don't scan they use their hand scanner thingie. IIRC there is an email from Tesco HO flaoting about in the coupon thread that staes they do take coupons. BRB going to have a look.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

Same thing happened to me , like you I returned the items and said I would go to Asda . When I got home I emailed HO . I then got a gift card together with a letter comfirming that they do take coupons as long as the products are purchased . They were going to contact my store to make sure they understood this :D I carry this letter with me now .
