i got 3 lumps of topside beef free from £ewes, the odd sel was dated 29th dec :eek:

i went to a esso/tesco petrol station as i had a crave/want for a sucky mint. and found a ood sel for some apple sauce. free thank you very much.

Hi, would you mind me asking about the sel?? i didn't realise there were dates on and wondered how to spot these ood ones. where/what should i look for please? I might be able to get some good deals if i knew what to look for :) thanks in advance.

It's an extra, with no scanners :( but this just means that nobody buys much, so there is always a few bits to be had. It's also quite an old store and what I would call a dirty store (stuff normally disorganised and loads of random things) and they have the best staff in any t's I've ever been to, they are all lovely :)
I think I put through about 50 or more 1p items and used 2 Green tea vouchers and the sa on ss didn't even bat an eyelid :j

    :T:T Thanks JJ :)

Hi - i spend ages walking up and down the aisle looking for these 1p things :o
Please, please would someone advise - what is the bst way to spot? we don't have a self scanner so i randomly take things to the optician bit or ss then say i've changed my mind - i'm sure they think i'm bonkers! :)
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes, both of my two stores had them in a multitude of places so goes without saying only the sels on the main shelf were correct.

My ds1 bless him, i only get him real j20 at christmas. He keeps asking if he can have a bottle and i always say, yes, but when its gone it gone.

Hes just come in from school and seen more bottles on the side and just smiled sweetly at me. Thats our secret code for youve been to tesco!

My son is the same, he loves the glitterberry ones especially! Just looked on the T website and they are still showing on offer (two packs for £6 instead of the previous offer of £2 a pack quoting 'usual' price of £3.46 or £3.67 depending on which flavour , so not sure how you got charged £3.36, they may have removed the first offer but not uploaded the new offer perhaps.

    Cheers anyway!

    Afternoon all

Wow.... you lot can 'arf talk!! I've got about 15 pages to catch up on again.... since lunch! I will be reading back in a while. I popped to a T's I don't normally go to (think it's just a normal T's so no clothing/toys etc). Anyway, I finally found some Sarah Smith wipes and fly traps! The traps were on a clip strip and as I wasn't sure what they would scan at (the ones I picked up in my local a couple of days ago scanned at £3.06 each ), I only took 2. They scanned at 1p, as did the SS wipes. Still no andrex though :(

    Hope everyone is well :)

The pile up had an ood sel saying £2 save 1.36. The main shelves had 2 for £6. Hth
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
