 £3.05 for a refill OMG, can you tell I haven't had to refill mine yet!
Won't be buying dedicated refills for mine with the manual Dettol version being £1 at the moment or the Carex equivalent at 80p.
Has anyone whose had one for a while tried refilling the container with cheaper handwash?

Just been to Mr T for my first visit of the year. Managed to keep away from the toys, clothes, homeware section, went straight to the food, bought everything we need for the week without wandering up and down every aisle looking for bargains . I need to lie down now, I'm traumatised.

I am utterly shocked at ur lack of commitment to the job! You have no staying power lol does that mean i have to come and strip Lockexxe too?

Well, a fruitful, if rather long day at mr ts.

    No1,
    j20 advertised at £2, scanning at £3.36
Coke, advertised as 4 for £4
Fridge heinz beans advertised as 2 for £3
Glade candles, buy 1 get one free

    Store no2,
    J20, coke as above
1 litre bottles of pepsi had ood sel as 1/2 price at 65p. Went through at 2 for 1.80. Cs honoured the j20 and coke but not the pepsi. Their reason was that the managers discretion even though no one had asked him!
I called cs instead of arguing. Annoyingly, first operator said up to manager. Hung up and called back. Looovvveeerrrrly lady said that absurd. Asked how many bottles i had (10). She said ok, i can refund you via a £5 gift card. I asked if i could have 500 points instead. She said, thats a good idea, ill give you 750 and took clubcard number! £30 in vouchers once converted. Thanked her and hung up. Told nasty lady in shop id have a refund. She was very smug and said see i said it was to our discresion. I said just as smug. Wel, they took the receipt details and i gave them your name and they gave me £30 as an apology.
She did the refund and didnt take into account the multisave of 2 for 1.80 and instead refunded me 10x 1.30

    Quids in!

    Knackered now!

    Ohh and still not smoking!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Afternoon all, need to read back from page 311!

Back from Pig Hill, plenty of 1p croc odor bin things to be found, no Andrex of either variety, got a rtc Hello Kitty throw for £2.25, only one there so not worth the risk waiting for further markdowns!

Lots of xmas whoopsies in chilled section, TONNES of tubs of fresh brandy butter and liquer cream, baileys cream etc for 12p, 19p and 37p respectively if I remember rightly.

Huge whole slabs of pork pie from the deli for about £2 and whole tubs of pate from the deli for about £3.50.

Didn't partake in any as I want to get healthy stuff in really.

Lots of meat whoopsies but only at half price (at 4pm), didn't hang around as there was only lots of steak, chops and pork mince, none of which I really eat!

Oh and big news THE SCANNER IS WORKING! Still broken though i.e. still in that unidentified foreign language that rounds things up or down to the nearest 10p i.e. £2.25 shows as '2.3Ko' whatever the hell that means!

Yes, both of my two stores had them in a multitude of places so goes without saying only the sels on the main shelf were correct.

My ds1 bless him, i only get him real j20 at christmas. He keeps asking if he can have a bottle and i always say, yes, but when its gone it gone.

Hes just come in from school and seen more bottles on the side and just smiled sweetly at me. Thats our secret code for youve been to tesco!

It's easy to pop the lid off the bottle and refill with Tesco baby bubble bath. One 12p container does 2.5 refills. Works a treat!
