Been to MIL's for another Xmas dinner. Diet starts tomorrow with a vengeance!!
Since I had to give up work I've piled on 2 stone and I desperately need to shift it :(
I know there is a weight loss thread on MSE but I daren't show my face again after my pathetic attempt last year....so if anyone on here wants someone to diet with please PM me!

    And I am Female 21 again ;) South Devon.....OK 51!!

i've hauled my extremely "wide load" back on the wagon again after gaining about half a stone back on again. It sounds like "only" half a stone but it took me months to lose that! I used quidco and got 3 months of weightwatchers online with £30 cashback, so i'll only end up paying £2.80 something :j

). It was a dog fight to get near anything. Couple of shoppers were literally having a tug of war over two packs of finest sausages which were reduced, then the sausages ended up on the floor. The guy threatened to punch the woman's lights out then security were there - quite entertaining really. Made sure I held on to my cream!

A big thanks everyone for all the tips.

I really can't understand the mentality of people like this!!

we all like a whoopsie but I'm not going to roll around in the mud, the blood and the beer for a couple of packs of 50p sausages!!

Right, my head has finally cleared and I've spent an hour catching up.

All I had to buy was coke as I removed the bladder from my CamelBak and filled it with vodka and put it in the big inside pocket of my jacket and fed the tube down my sleeve. Press open the one way valve with my fingers and give the bag a wee squeeze.:beer:
Was that the reason you were barred from a couple of bars?!!:rotfl:

I had a wasted trip to Tesco as very few whoopsies to be had. They had loads of the Christmas pourable creams which had originally been any 2 for £3 and were reduced to 23p each. I bought 4 of the Caramel Cream ones as they also had brandy in. I was hoping that they would glitch at the checkout and I'd get an extra discount but no such luck. Anyway I've got until 4th Jan to use up 4 pots of cream or, if I feel inclined, I'm sure it would make nice ice cream, although I've never made my own before.

Tesco's was absolutely dead so I don't know what happened to all the reductions, unless they'd reduced everything in the morning. The roads were also quiet so I imagine a lot of people were staying at home nursing a hangover.

Hi Heather I asked on here a few days ago about the extra discount still coming off whoopsies - it seems that if it's a single offer ie 2 for £3 or 2 for £5 it doesn't come off whoopsies :( but if it's a mixed offer ie 3 for £10/4 for £12 then it should still come off ( Don't quote me on that though!)

I got finest sausages the other day, the deal was 2 for £4.50 or 3 for £6 , got 3 packs with a £2.07 discount - free lol!!

Think it's a bit of trial and error but it's worked like this on other items for other people.

    HTH!:T

    Not at all.

Someone that crossed me in the past *bumped* in to me and ended up wearing a pint of cider and blackcurrant with extra blackcurrant all over his expensive designer white shirt. :rotfl:

Whilst getting tea on the go I was thinking about 2011. It was good in some ways and bad in others.

Firstly the sad part was having my 11 year old boxer put to sleep - it's always so distressing when that dreaded time arrives but one I keep putting myself through. The pleasure they give you throughout their lives far outweighs the upset at the end though.

The good times were Mr T's glitches and there was so many last year. The best I think was all the free food (or being paid to take it away) with the DTD and when they had a clothing sale and I bought about 20 t-shirts which only worked out at £1 each because of the discounts.

We also had 2 fantastic holidays last year thanks to Mr T. The first holiday we had our free flights through AirMiles to Las Vegas where we did a fly drive around Nevada and California in a red mustang convertible (unfortunately we had to pay for the car and hotels, but the free flights were a great help). I also won about £750 in Vegas as I hit it lucky on the slots so that went a long way towards paying for the rest of the holiday.

Our second holiday was an amazing Alaskan cruise all paid for my Mr T thanks to CC.

I realise how lucky I was to have 2 fabulous holidays in one year as some people can't afford a holiday at all, but I wouldn't have been able to afford these holidays without Mr T, so I am grateful to him for giving me some good memories that will last a lifetime.

Our holidays this year will be a bit more down to earth as Mr T has clamped down on people accumulating too many CC points and put an end to my fun in that department.

    Woohoo!!!

Look how much butter I've made (and buttermilk of course!):

Can't believe it! This doesn't even include the virgin batch from last night. Reckon I've got 6 months worth!
