Anyway off she trots to go & find SEL on shelf ???
Meanwhile I spot original SA & she comes over. Immediately starts telling me how after I had left she had contacted her PI (?) & the Manager & both had said no DTD but I could have a £10 gift card
So I inform her that I had spoken to CS & YES they should honour the Policy promise. But she wasn't having it. Wouldn't ring the CS man & I could come back tomorrow to speak to Manager
I lost it thenI accused her of making me feel dirty
I've never done a DTD before, I shop regularly there, have worked along side most of the staff when we all worked for LA
So I said I want a refund
They refunded me the £39.99 in small change - I did offer them the 1pmeerkatsmimm wrote: »I'd phone cust services back...not a good attitude and I hope you got t £10 gift card....
Now is the time to put this tale in a well thought out email to the ceo's office (matter of principle). Just explain what has happened and how this experience (you the customer) has made you feel, and politely suggest a programme of retraining for the people concerned to enable them to implement a simple Tesco policy - philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com You could also mention that you are so disillusioned with Tesco after this unpleasant experience, that you are likely to take your custom elsewhere.0 -
Happy we want to see a piccie or your cake when you've cooked it and iced it please, Don't worry about putting holly on top as it won't be Xmas:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:If you havent got a rolling pin for the marzipan just use a wine bottle;)
J20 not working for me:(But my goodness have I made up for it in whoopsies, found another 12 packs of sausages and the multibuy kicked in, got the 1p andrex, whoopsied finest lasagne, 2 packets of duck, gammon, bacon, carrot & swede mash, quiche, diced lamb, beef strips and stacks of other stuff. 5 big carrier bags full:T:T:T:Tand then found a strip of descaler, I've got loads but the temptation was just too much so nabbed another 2:o Not going out tomorrow night for New Year, meant to be having a romantic night in with the OH but loads of dates in my Extra end on the 31st so guess where I'm going tomorrow night;)
Off to catch up on the soaps now I know Happy is home safely from his trip on the bus!
You can have a nice romantic evening on Sunday - the tesco stores which are open, close early LOL0 -

nikki welcome back - you must have been happy to get back to T's!
Czer.......hope your christmas went well and that you and bf will soon have time with your families, hope the new job continues to go well and that you have time for T's...............WHY oh WHY did I buy fly killing window stickers??????? well we ALL know why !
addicted moi? yes!
I've resisted the fly stickers so far as my OH an DS have made me promise not to bring back anymore stuff we don't use after I counted that I have 51 coffee descaling packs and no coffee maker (I'm sure I can find other uses for them;)) They're very good but they don't understand a lot of the time it's just the thrill of the chase;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:So, my favourite bargains of this year - theres been so many!- 4p tights - thats got to be high up there, its the only 4p clothing I found, but I got loads and have been wearing them to work and they've saved me a fortune
- The 90% crazy secret toy sale stuff helped loads with birthdays and christmas - from £4 tardis sets to peppa pig sets for £2, Justin Beiber doll for £1.50, (one of my DDs favourite gifts) - I loved every second of it, and the mileage we put in rounding them bargains up
- 1p Toy Story bags - I will never need buy a gift bag again ( I reckon my stack would be higher than the highest OEP pile!)
- 1p Trays - everybody I know now owns at least one!
So, its officially my birthday now so I won't be posting in the morning, or probably at all tomorrow - so happy new year in advance
Sunshine, if you have your baby today then I'll be made upIts a good day for a birthday and she'll love it :T
Happy Birthday:T:T
Happy New Years Eve everyone, It won't be complete without a trip to T's to see in the New Year;););)
Lets hope this year is even better than last, and that Mr T comes up with an even dopier scheme than last years old DTD & free shopping;);):rotfl::rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Most of the excuses I can ignore but this one really pulls at the heart strings! We will be re starting hydro once she has had the all clear from her spine surgery. I am hoping once she gets back into the water and standing frame the Physio won't have to be so vigarous (sp?) Anyway thanks hun, u have made me feel a little better. More than OH has who is currently snoring away!!
Hope DD is feeling better. WOuld it be rude to ask what surgery she has had? Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0
