If it helps when I shattered my wrist I was pulled up off the floor using that wrist and then my mum jiggled it about told me it was a sprain and stuck a tubey grip on it, so you aren't the only one *hugs*

Anyway bed for me, am off to pick dd1 up from my mums tomorrow so no Tesco's booooo But I am also picking up 22 bars of cdm and tons of OEP which my sister managed to get for me

your experences remind me of a friend at secondary school she had stopped growing when very very young and had to go through so many tests and drugs from such a young age to keep her within a 'normal' range. She had grown a bit but they wanted her to get taller, I think in the end she refused to have more meds because she was happy as she was but the docs wanted to do more and it made her so unhappy. Wow she sounds very inspirational. That is such a lovely thing you did to help her too, I can't believe the doctors, a patient should always have the final decision on their treatment. I had the opposite problem, I've been on steroids since I was 5 and they stunted my growth and have since give me Osteoporosis. When I was about 15 I had terrible difficulty accepting I wouldn't grow anymore because I had been undergoing tests from the age of 10 when it started to bother me and I was always informed I would continue to grow 18 months after my friends stopped. When I was 15 I had another scan and was just told, point black, that's it you won't grow anymore. It was so traumatic, I was determined to do anything I could to be taller. I had tests to see if I was still producing growth hormone but I wasn't so the only solution was to have my legs broken and stretched over a period of 1-2 years. I was so desperate I was willing to do that but I had to fight my consultant for months because of the risk of infection with my compromised immunity. In the end she referred me but it took about 10 months for the app to arrive by which time I had much bigger problems and it fell by the wayside. I'm so glad it did though, I just wouldn't be me if I wasn't a shorty!

Awww it sounds like you and dd have been through an awful lot. Well done :T I know it's hardbut I agree with you, definitely. Things are so much easier in the water, especially at that temp so I'm sure that will help her along nicely :A
