Absolutely adore Portaventura :j this year our neighbours came with us for their first ever holiday & they loved every minute :T from getting soaked on the rapids & Watching Bang Bang West & getting a tan - good times
We normally stay just down the road at Vil La Romana & buy a weeks pass for the park. Hotel is fabulous & superb food.... but being as Croatia is a more expensive trip I've looked & we could stay at Portaventura Hotel instead:T if Thompsons agree to swop...
We have stayed in all of the hotels apart from gold river. It might seem more expensive but there are lots of perks that add up.
We have also be known to book everything seperate and barter with the hotels to get better deals.
Cant complain about food at any. The is a new supermarket walking distance so we buy snacks really cheap and take them with us, naughty i know but i aint paying 16euro for a happy meal. Take lots of fruit from brekfast too!
If you stay in one, you can use the facilities of any so you dont get board. And fast pass to big rides included.
Cant wait now! Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
