I have, got threw in at the deep end once by an old friend who was stuck for staff in one of Peterheads busiest bars on NYE.:eek::eek: I didn't enjoy it one little bit but I can pull a mean pint.

Mum had relatives visiting a few years ago and we went to the local pub for a meal and (Bob) the owner was never behind the bar, when he did appear he running around like a headless chicken doing nothing (as usual). So I said to him "is it help yourself tonight" "aye" was his reply so I got behind the bar and poured all our drinks. Bob eventually returned just as I was finishing pouring a pint of John Smiths "I was only joking, but that's the best pint of John Smiths I've ever seen"

I'm going to try harder at this whoopsie business (so to speak) as there seem to be quite a few of the meat things with a multibuy discount that essentially makes them free....do we know which of the offers work and which don't? That would be quite useful, I'm more than happy to pop back tomorrow night and see!

I wa going to go Sat as Sun is closed for NY but I think on the days they close early there's s*d all left as everyone has the same idea!:beer:
