Was a bit bored today so went for a wander, got some more Andrex , still loads left.
1 jewel air freshener ( bird shaped) 6p

Pork shoulder joint , no dtd as I boobed and picked up a pack with the discount on and scanned at the right price.

2 Sony headphones, £12 dtd back. Although the cs came back with the correct sel so had to show her where I got them from.

As usual the whoopsies were rubbish.

Think I need to go to a different store for a change.
    :(
  • Just like to say a big thanks to my sis auto armadillo. it was her inspiring little chats about reduced goods that got me hooked in the first place.
since this point I have saved a lot of money. most of my friends think I am bit obsessive about getting reduced good. I don't think they have yet experienced the adrenalin rush you get when you get something seriously cheap or the supermarket pays you to take it away.
thanks sis for introducing me to the site
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Hi cld someone please help me?With dtd is it better to pay cash or card?Or does it not make any difference?
    Thanks

I always pay cash and no clubcard (just in case I am lucky enough to have a run on dtd) - like to try and stay under the radar (unless of course there is a trout on the CS desk)

Evening all, have to admit I lurked too yesterday. Been rather busy.

FN your haul was AMAZING! I am in awe! :)

So mad today, OH went to go in car to help our friend move to find tyres flat...all 4 of them... finally found someone with a pump and discovered that they have all been stabbed with a dart or screw driver. Because it's the hire car we have to pay £150 for new tyres which we can't have till tomorrow :( Fuming and feel like I could cry. Have a good idea who and why which is a long story.

Sorry ranting again, you must all think I am a right misery guts! It's all I have felt lately, I took the christmas tree down today, don't normally do it till 3rd Jan OH said blimey you must be feeling down :o

Hope poorly people are feeling a better x

Sorry to hear about your tyres, there really are some complete w4nkers about these days :(

Hi everyone I hope you are all well. I was amused by the story of wanting a new freezer. I have had many arguments about this with my other half. I have smashed three of the shelves in mine trying to fit all the reduced goods i have bought. It would be good if Mr T started to sell these for 1p we would all be laughing then .
not able to get get to the shops today. good hearing about other peoples bargains.
    Happy shopping to everyone

Cheaper (£2) to buy a whole unit using the pdf coupon :)

I'll be keeping an eye on these to refill mine when they run out...25p or less seems reasonable to me...:rotfl:

thanks :-) I've got no right to complain really, i think it was more of a rant than anything else. Its just a case (once again!) of him not listening to a single word I say.

Thank "whoever" that your ex is now just that :j

One year just before christmas, my ex thought it would be a brilliant idea to have a go at me about gravy, while we had loads of people round for dinner.

Within a week, he was my ex :j

I could rant the rest of this year and still not be finished! My mum phoned me one day in a rush and said about some deal on a site called MSE. It was for a cot for the imminent arrival of baby #2. I actually phoned and asked his permission to buy it (we never had any joint account so anything I bought was done so with my money). He then had a go at me after 'allowing' me to buy it saying we should have used the one he'd used for his kid - yes he has a habit of leaving women with young kids. The cotbed he had had been stored in the attic, in garages and god knows what had crawled all over it. It has since been ditched so he'll have to buy a new one for DS2 and I'm sure he won't get as good a deal :D

P.S. the grand sum of said cot ...................... under £20. I even paid for the mattress (£70) myself, the car seat for DS2 (£90) and all this out of my money while he'd been pocketing the child benefit for 2 years.

Oh and I've just had a :rotfl: moment. Took some Riverway sausages out of the freezer to defrost that were free after DTD (my first ever DTD I read about on here). The best before date was the last full day of our marriage! It make me chuckle :rotfl:

    Ok enough ex-bashing.

    Hi again all

Just a quick post, little something I remembered from yesterday's T's trip. Someone posted yesterday (I think) about the Orange Ilooms in their store having a yellow SEL of 15p, in my store the Yellow ones were RTC to 15p..... may be worth checking the individual colours in your store if anyone hasn't got enough of these already :D

    HTH

Any chance of b/codes pleazzee ??? All the ones I have scanned have been well over £3 and I would love some for the grand-daughters. Thanks IA
  • No probs sis:beer:. Lots of andrex @ 6p and the spontex @6p too @ ch@dd3rton
We are many we are one xxx

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.
