Hope all of the elite 11+ had a good Christmas etc. I pictured quite a lot of families together, opening their presents and all the chaps getting loungewear, boxers or dressing gown! Whilst the ladies admired their scarves, bags, hats etc! Ditto the children with their playdoh, bakagan, chuggingtons etc. They all know where their pressies were bought! :money: I can't recall whose Nan would only let people spend a £1 on her present and had to prove it as well. I would love to know her comments on the leaf tray etc.:T So Christmas Eve was my DD1 (and nephews) birthday. She and her OH and my DGS came home for the holiday. Christmas and Boxing Day DD2 and her OH and my DGDs came. DD1's OH parents also came over for the two days. Now getting ready for OH's birthday tomorroiw. Caught up with the last few pages. Happy Birthday to Saversavvy123's DS1 and Winjackie who both share my OH's birthday tomorrow -:bdaycake::beer::beer:
Think Sunshines baby will arrive tomorrow to keep the above company. Perhaps her middle name can be Ava or Jackie?
For anyone near to Br04dw4ter (R0ebuck), they have got loads of the Finest rump steak priced at 14.39 with sel 11.49 per kilo. It's in the main meat aisle. Left a few of the 4p Littlest petshop toys - single ones b/c ending 1011. HTH.
HI It was my gran who got the leaf tray and all the 1p items on it. She absolutely loved it and nobody would believe me so I had to provide the receipts
The entire family were blown away with it and keep phoning me when they're going shopping to find out what to look for. Thank you to everyone on here as it really was a merry te$co christmas!
Oh and I definately won best value for a pound present award. Got to come up with something for next year now.0 -
Hi everyone I hope you are all well. I was amused by the story of wanting a new freezer. I have had many arguments about this with my other half. I have smashed three of the shelves in mine trying to fit all the reduced goods i have bought. It would be good if Mr T started to sell these for 1p we would all be laughing then .
not able to get get to the shops today. good hearing about other peoples bargains.
Happy shopping to everyoneMortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -

I'm going to start making special trips to Mr T just for the whoopsies :j
I've already got 3 pots of curry in the fridge waiting for space to be "created" in the freezer. Now it looks like my new freezer might well be here by the weekend so bring it on!
I'll fill it with milk and bread if i need to haha!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Jeez he sounds like my ex. All he did was complain yet it was MY money getting spent not his so he didn't exactly have the right to dictate how I spent it. He actually had the brass neck to complain that I bought two different types of yogurt for the kids. I could understand if his other kid had gone without but I always spent my money fairly.
I feel for you, I really do.0 -

Woman after my own heart, we went to the Grand Designs Exhibition in October at the NEC and we sat on this fantastic white leather recliner suite, I said "shall we get it?" He look aghast as I had only ordered a new sofa in April  so said "No, no way"
I ordered it and paid for it:T

Hi i've been a lurker on and off for a few months and never had the courage to post till now. This is mainly due to my sis ,streetlights, who jumped straight in and started posting so I kinda been shamed into it lol. Thanks to all of your tips and I hope I can very soon repay the favour and thanks sis!:beer:We are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

I'm not sure why but that made me smile - have visions of you with a trolley full of whoopsies fighting with your freezer lol!:rotfl::rotfl:Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -

thanks :-) I've got no right to complain really, i think it was more of a rant than anything else. Its just a case (once again!) of him not listening to a single word I say.
Thank "whoever" that your ex is now just that :j
One year just before christmas, my ex thought it would be a brilliant idea to have a go at me about gravy, while we had loads of people round for dinner.
Within a week, he was my ex :jI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
