This would have been a good day to visit Tesco (if you lived nearby). Nice to know someone decided to spread a little Christmas cheer to complete strangers...... or maybe it was the real Santa? :xmassmile

What a lovely story. I would have personally preferred to give it to somewhere it could really make a difference though such as The Douglas Macmillan or Intensive Care ward etc.
Some recipient shoppers may also have been well off so not really benefitted more than being cheered by a selfless act of a stranger.

He would have been better placed in a netto or Lidl! ;)

Highfield Rd and Rushmere are the same ones lol.....prob the easiest for you to get to as only a couple of mins from Motorway, opposite Rushmere shopping centre but still a bit of a trek for you.....keep looking in your locals cos those ones only just appeared today

Oops that was to you Caz, quote didnt work for some reason

It's been years since I was down that way and even then it was on the Enterprise! I think I'll keep an eye out up here as there's quite a few stores me & the family frequent so a quick detour each visit to have a looksee. Had I lived in Belfast and knew the player was still there I'd have taken a risk but it's baltic outside and an hours drive at tea time so dad will have to get used to losing the TV to his wee grandson :rotfl:

On a side note, my M&S order arrived. The delivery man is a lovely old man from City Link and was asking how my Xmas was and wished me a happy new year! When I opened the door I said "ohhhhhh next years Xmas goodies" to which he laughed. He thought I was joking :D Nope, it was loads of their North Pole range of crockery & glasses for the boys.
