Yeah an old bicycle tyre cut up and stapled to the sole an these would be as good as new - this is a moneysavin thingyma-gigy - you young folk need to get more imaginative ! ! :D

Totally agree with you! And a bit of black polish and they'd come up as new! HappyChappy would be able to wear them to weddings, christenings, funerals etc. In fact, I'm thinking of bidding for them for my husband!

Aw Man !!! This is a good freezer at a decent price.

If its shows as available let me know and I'll buy it and get the wife to collect it from you (although she will believe she is collecting shoes) :rotfl:

I don't know how your missus puts up with you :D

I have one of those Samsung American style fridge freezers but thankfully not one with an ice dispenser or anything else to limit the already limited space in the freezer section. And they say women have no spacial awareness - you should see what I've managed to cram in.

Oh and Raven, I may well take your missus up on the Sunday Roast offer. What's her dish of choice? Personally I stick to lamb, beef or chicken. Not a fan of ham/gammon. I know my mum will read this post at some point tomorrow but I'd love to cook a proper roast for her & dad complete with fluffy roasties, veg and some vino (ok so the vino is for me!).

Right I really should get to bed seeing as I have two wee men relying on me in the morning. Night all.

I hope you don't mind me saying this adamccance but I've noticed you lurking, and thanking posts, and would love for you to join in as you were such a great part of the DTD thread, and the aftermath of DTD too. Hope you're well :D

Hello! I am well, thank you very much. I've requested a new username and now have it, so, as I've now been spotted lurking, I'll join in on the Tesco-baiting (not that I haven't been doing that these last six months - just haven't posted!).

    Whilst I'm here, I'll add a find:

    - Small retractable dog leads, red/black, £1 (were £9.99, no SEL but scanned at reduced price)

It's good to be back. Now, when are Nikkilala's relatives leaving her to roam the country's Tesco stores? Where is celebrate? Where did HappyChappy84 come from? :p
