Tesco Advert on TV B2g2f on all party food, so it is not a local offer!

Got four of the finest products tonight (the £4 ones) but they were yellow stickered to 75p each - went to cs desk and asked if they should have gone through as b2g2free as per the sign - she laughed and said

"dont you think you do well enough out of us, with those 1p nuts"

Totally threw me of guard and as she was so nice I said oh! ok then. :D
I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony  :j :D:)

    Evening all

Not long back from T's and not much to report. I needed to get some shopping anyway and wanted to look (again) for the raindrop mugs. They didn't have any and I also checked the Pyrex dishes, all scanned at SEL. There were no Andrex on the go, T-bags, sweeteners, Haribo etc. Did find some Melitta de-scalers (took 4, left loads) and Harry's nuts (took 6 left loads). Loads of whoopsied veg there and also tons of double cream.

Whilst I was walking up and down the aisle, I noticed some people waiting at the back of the store (individually) but at first, took no notice. Then, just as I got to the end of an aisle (at said end) an SA came out of the stock room with a trolley piled high with chilled stuff. She saw the people standing there and didn't even wheel the trolley completely out, she just pushed it away from herself and into the path of the people waiting! I've never seen people move so fast!! :rotfl::rotfl: I couldn't even get near it (well not for the first 10 seconds or so)! Then I just edged myself in.... only just managed to rescue two large packs of Lean Steak Mince (I use tons of this), whoopsied to 45p and some breaded chicken breasts for 30p. I'm presuming that they reduce at that time every night as it was clearly what the others were waiting for. Note to self... get back there tomorrow at 8pm with a crash helmet and elbow pads! :rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, off I went to the till (manned) with my trolley, SA quite happily scanning away (descalers went through no prob), until he got to Harrys Nuts...... "I can't sell you these" he said. "Oh, why not?" I asked. "It just says they can't be sold" he replied. I knew they scanned at 1p because I checked them beforehand so I just shrugged and said ok.

Also, something I've just remembered from a couple of days ago (someone mentioned the Lucozade shots earlier). I bought some of these from another store and they scanned at 1p (only found 2). However, when I left the store and went to the petrol garage, they had loads on display behind the counter. I asked SA how much they were and she scanned one and it came up at £1.25
If at first you don't succeed ........ ;) Alternative autism therapies should be free!!
