"The man slotted unmarked envelopes containing cash and a note (pictured) into shopping baskets as he sped through a Tesco in Sampford Peverell, Devon, shortly before Christmas. It was only once the grey-haired benefactor, whose identity is unknown, had made his getaway that the unsuspecting "

Now why oh why does this never happen in my local Tescos? ~Oh I guess with DTD is the CS desk who hand it out:beer:

Is it possible to clean those shoes to any standard??

I think they may be beyond hope...

Oh and I think they should be described in the title as "well worn"...that seems to attract the quality clientele...

And trashed is another phrase used for this type of listing lol

I remember the name well. Come and join our merry band of new breed DTDers.

I noticed the other listings linked previously had that in the info. Why? I take it it's there just to comply but the whiffy shoes won't actually be cleaned but the recipient isn't about to complain?

Ok watched Mrs Brown's Boys and it was terrible. I don't know what was worse ...... the script or the broad Belfast accent of Betty Brown. Not everyone from NI sounds like the ones you generally hear getting interviewed on the news

Oh and DS1 (aged 2) has kindly shown me that my blu-ray player has iPlayer so I'm off to watch Top Gear and hope the neighbours don't wake my boys up. Please let the Xmas Special be better than the tripe they've been rolling out the last while back.

The Christmas special wasn't all that great to be honest. :(

Love how we are all suddenly 'experts' at the dodgy side of ebay. Even down to the best phrases to use to attract the most interest. This site is educational beyond belief :rotfl:

Lol it seems like we are all doing WAY too much research on this tonight!!!

Oh sorry on another note or I'll forget! I was bought a John Frieda foam hair colour for Xmas, great product but they cost £10:eek: and I'd rather return it and have a giftcard !! Does anyone know if T's will give me a giftcard for it, there's nothing wrong with it but I don't have a receipt.

Thought I'd better post 1 useful thing tonight!!:rotfl:

    TIA!!:)
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Fantastic HC Cant wait to see what responses you get. Perhaps thats the next club we have all got to list a pair and see who gets the most, we could always donate to charity! Well Done You:j

Love the offer of the socks!

Never mind charity, I think HC needs to buy a new pair of shoes with any profits. :D

BTW I notice a lot of people on here are experts on the listing of smelly shoes .... now I know how you make the pennies to spend on your whoopsies ;)

I just watched Alan Carr from Xmas day, Jedwood are soooo annoying. Weird, but good to see Steps again on TV.
