Hi Everyone, hope you are all ok! hang in there Sunshine at least until Friday morning as that's my prediction. Made a slight detour on the way to T's to Boots thanks to OP who posted earlier about the handwash system, my cillit bang one arrived today and I wanted the dettol one to accompany it. I also had a shaver to take back that I bought for DS2 (his first shaver -aaah he's growing up fast) and managed to find on the end of the aisle the Remington DualFoil360 flex and pivot F4790 for £10. This was the SEL and it scanned at that. Got the dettol system for £2.10 with the voucher and gave the SA another voucher as I had printed off 2. Got back and checked the price for the shaver and it is £50 everywhere else. Dont know if this is a fluke or you will manage to get this in your local Boots but it was the last one in my store. Also for every purchase at the moment you get a £5 voucher for No7 (no min spend) I treat myself to a mascara which all come with a free eyeshadow compact at the moment so both the mascara and eyeshadow came to £6, with another voucher thrown in.

p.s nothing worth having in the tesco express I went to afterwards, did find the Dormens cashews but they were scanning at 41p :(

That's great I'm going to get 2 of the handwash systems tomorrow with 2 coupons and I've also got Boots vouchers,so I'll also get a £5 No7 voucher too?

Looks like I'll be struggling to hand over any real cash at all - everything will be free lol!:j

Hello everyone, hope you've had a good christmas. I got a Terry's Chocolate Orange in one of my gifts this year. :D Quite handy as I missed that glitch - had no idea whether I liked the chocolate orange or not. If another glitch for them comes around, at least I'll know.

Now where are glitches tailored to my addictions, hmm? More salty snack glitches please! ;)

Thanks Smart1e reaslised it was you who found them half price in Boots after I posted so i have edited to thank you. Yes you will get £5 no7 voucher for each transaction so if you put the dettol handwash through separately you should get two vouchers. :)

That's made my mind up going to see if any of the Andrex on the go for 6p in my store if it works out about £1 for around a 4 pack worth that seems a very good deal, I did only pick up 2 packs when it was 25p so hope no one has cleared the strips yet. ;)

I won't cancel the sky insurance because it's one of those insurances that pays for itself in time, every year something goes wrong and I like the peace of mind. Plus I can't just plug in an aerial and get normal channels if I lose sky, I'm in some sort of blackspot!

Vet club is basically where you pay for their yearly jabs in installments, but you also get 10% off everything in the vet shop and medicines, cheaper consultations and certain free health checks. Did all the sums again recently and it saves me a lot of money when it's all added up!

I sit and have a read on this thread evey now and then and have a laugh, and even on the odd occasion post.

No idea how many pets you have covered on the vet club, £396 a year seems a lot to recoup when you have pet insurance as well, you must be spending a fortune if you pay that much and it still saves money. We all have to do what saves us money.

I didcovered Vets4Pets about a year ago, their peices are really good. Spay at my old vets for a retriever was over £300 and at Vets4Pets about £150, I can't remember the exact amount, they even called the next day to check she was ok which I thought was a lovely touch.

They do a deal where you pay a one off fee of £99 and that pays for their annual vacs for the lifetime of the dog, surprising called Vac for Life. There are lots of Vets4Pets branches so if I moved I'd probably be near one. My old vets was charging over £30 for the annual vacs so as long as Vets4Pets are still around for 3 years I've broken even and anymore is a bonus.

Hope evryone is recovering from great Christmases

When I had my first baby...thirty years ago...it was routine for the midwife to come at you with a pessary to put up your b_m (same end result as castor oil) and a razor :eek::eek:

Its my way of confusing the robots, instead of putting asterisks and all that in, i just change the name around, job done!

Maybe I should confuse people by calling my local 'Pig Hill' since that's what the name Sw1ndon (from Anglo-Saxon Swine-Dun) apparently comes from! Lovely :rotfl:
