Hope mr3dogs feels better soon! Same goes to you QPR :)

    Just noticed I got my 3rd medal/star :D

My mum got a kindle for christmas from my step dad as she loves reading, though she normally gets her books from library, don't think my step dad realised you have to pay for them so been trying to find some free ones but none she will like. She loves books set in war times/olden days, hates "chick flick" books so not an easy task!

I agree about Mr 3dogs and QPR (((((hugs to you both)))))
    Congrats on your medal/star beki
I got my kindle for christmas last year and can honestly say its been the best pressie ever......amazon update their free books list hourly. I havent paid for a book since I got my kindle and go through an average of 2 books a week.....and I hare chick flick books too!!! My advice would be to download from the free list and give them a chance, you dont lose by doing so and maybe read a book out of your comfort zone. Failing that, books are different prices every day and watch out for ones by her fave author xx

Tesco slow cooker reduced to £12.00 - this is the very same one that was £10 in November!!!!

Didnt realise what a bargain I got with the pyrex cake tins at 35p. Went into Handy Dean today and they were marked at £3.50 sale price. If anyone finds them still for 35p they are a real bargain.

Also I got double the difference on a pyrex baking tray - SEL of 70p scanned through at £8.50 (I had 4). They are correctly priced at £5.50 today so if anyone finds one still at 70p, they are a genuine bargain.

None in Stockport Extra as yet (to save anyone a trip out) and price-corrected in Gorton Extra.

It was £9 when I bought one?

Did you notice Aesops not great at the moment?

I'm normally very good at keeping the 'face' on ;)

Yes, Aesop's not having a very good time of it right now, and she deserves much more :(:(
