Yep, my bl00dy neighbour is using one of these, blats out all the way from ch1 to 7 (uses 1+5 for te data, but with the response curve overlaps to ch 7) However, as explained on another thread, a 10dBi antenna and channel 9 works for me
p.s. inSSIDer-II shows such networks and the full extent of their channel-hogging, so easier to avoid

Probably daft question time, but how do you change channels on the router? I know I need to do mine but I'm not sure how to go about it and can't find the info that came with the router.
Thanks.
you need to log into the router's web-based interface, find the relevant settings, change & save them and log out again

no - since the best channel depends on your location not on the make of routerAny tips on the best channel for a BT HomeHub?
use the app, and set your router to the channel with the least activity0 -
1, 6 and 11 are the best channels as they don't overlap each other, hopefully everyone lives in an area where people aren't being airwave hogs using any other channels (the same goes, if someone is using channel 2 near you then the first channel that doesn't overlap is channel 7, ect.)
I used to have a really detailed bookmark at a site that explained this in detail and with lots of really good diagrams, but have long since lost it

A Belkin of some sort.
if you look underneath it, it should have a label with the type on it, that'd be useful in being able to advise you
try this method...
