Can anyone help please?

Hi Everyone, can anyone of you lovely people remember an Insurance company that went by the name of Pioneer Mutual.We know one of there offices was based in Newcastle-upon tyne, but whilst dealing with them it was with one of there representitives in Germany around 1980ish. Does anyone know what happened to this company, if they were taken over by another firm etc. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance. Starry.

Looks like they became part of Swiss Life (UK) and that Swiss Life were then sold to Resolution Life Group.
