PC game from Amazon, corrupted disc, how to return?

Hi, just purchased Batman Arkham City from Amazon UK, but the disc is defective, crc's when using disk checker, but Amazon says no returns if opened, is this legal? the disc is useless now, can't install the game, etc, there is also no instructions/manual where it says to return disc.

Yes you can return the thing if it is faulty.... only for an exchange though.
Give them a ring on either 0800 496 1081 or 020 7084 7911 before 10pm on a weekday.0 -
Thanks for that, AUK are replacing it, but I'm still a bit worried they will find nothing wrong with it and bill me for mailing, etc...0

Are you getting confused with there return policy if you simply don't want the goods ?0
