Apparently yes. I think its been noted in some retail references some place that electricals are becomming the new hot list thing to spend ££££s on where it used to be clothes/acessories wine or beauty cosmetics. Its apparenly growing rapidly and I think just as people used to go without food and heating for a Gucci bag many now do the same for a pair of earphones or an ipad.

I would like the option just to do that! I think even if I didn't eat again it would take me very close towards malnutrition to get a pair of earphones (and I think I'd be set on a set of Shure's rather then MonsterBeats).

can't believe people would spend this sort of money on there kids what on earth are kids learning about the value of money? oh i remember we arent!
its like i had a friend spend £300 or £400 on a handheld console for his 4 year old boy i mean what a complete waste of money. no wonder we are getting more in debt, seems parents feel they have to buy whatever there kids want. I remember when i was a kid i got push bike for christmas and birthday joint present and that was your lot and you where happy with that and grateful.
shame i wonder what sort of next generation will come thru, i was brought up with one saying 'i want don't get' but hey maybe i was just hard done by but i don't feel so. just hope everyones plastic and re-mortages can keep them going :D
but hey ho each to there own.

basil now gets off soap box.
