Thanks to this website, with the template letters I have managed to reclaim £9200 for my son-in-law, from the FSCS We are just waiting to see what is left of the loan once they have recived the cheque from the FSCS. He took up the loan 5 years ago and has never missed a payment. For anyone that is interested, I first wrote to the loan company, using one of the Template Letters. They wrote back and said that it was there agent who sold the loan, I then wrote to them but after a month never had a reply, so downloaded the Financial Ombudsman questionnaire
sent that off, they wrote back and said that the Agent was no longer trading, the FSCS may be able to help, so I sent the form off to the FSCS with a letter, they sent some more forms to be completed I did this, never heard anything for about a month then a letter dropped the letter box yesterday. What a smashing Christmas Present.
