why don't you spend a bit of time going round a department store and seeing if there's anything that might work there? Debenhams already have 70% off some things. I agree about the ornaments....wine/chocolate sounds like a better bet if you've got no idea....but surely their son/grandson must have SOME idea of what they like!?Best 2018 wins: £1500, £500 John Lewis voucherBest 2019 wins: 18 of the latest DVDsBest 2020 wins: £100 cash 2021 wins: 130 books 2021 wins: Jubilee silver necklace 2023: 8xfootball shirts, Spar vouchers, £200 Tesco voucher,0

wish they drank so I can buy them booze but they don't so that's out the question.
Some kinds of chocs/toffee is a good idea as a wee extra thing for them each.
Hmm no John Lewis near me but will defo have a look in M and S on Fri.

Stef there are quite a few nice books in The Works at the moment if you have one near you. I got my Dad "the second book of general ignorance" (QI facts) for only £3.99 as one of his small presents. They have lots of puzzle books, some nice diaries and calendars (for the ladies?) too. Last year M&S did some xmas crackers that had a few games in them (blankety blank etc) that were really good fun. Don't know if they have them this year, but worth a looksie for similar family games that they could play.
ETA: They have these ones this year that could go well with the book mentioned before if they are into that sort of thing.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Made them hampers last year lol but I might have a look in Debenhams and BHS too.

oh yeah forgot about the works will have a look there too - his gran likes to read but gets all her books from the library so i could get something round that theme.
His mum likes her coffee so that could be an idea too

Argh no no no to ornaments, and men usually know what sort of wallet they prefer so no no no to that too. Anyway if you're on a budget you probably can't afford the sort of ornament or wallet that looks classy enough to be appreciated.
Why not buy a present for each couple, rather than individual ones for each person? I reckon they would much prefer a box of nice soaps tastefully wrapped than junk that would end up in a charity shop.
Edit: Bottles of handwash are always appreciated. People buy themselves bog standard ones but a really good quality one would be a luxury.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

If you and your boyfriend have any photos, M&S also sell a personalised calendar (wallets to put your own photos in) for only £5 and they are 3for2 in their mix and match promotion too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

How about a photo frame with a pic of you and the BF or the kids for the women? And maybe a novelty mug for the men?
If you have an Argos near by you can reserve things online then just go in to pick them up.0
