Jeans - Not As Expected

Please can someone help.
I sold some Diesel jeans which were too long for me. I mentioned in the listing that they had been worn and not to bid if someone wanted a brand new pair. I also stated that there was some blue marks on the bit near the pocket where it says Diesel Industries from the dye running. I also said that other than this, they were perfectly fine.
Buyer has received the jeans and is saying he is not happy because "there is a split in the fold place at the bottom of the leg". I can't say I have ever noticed this "split" and other than the blue marks they were as new bar being worn a few times. I know I gave them a good once over before I put them on and did not notice any split at all. He has said he wants a full cash refund and will send me photos if I want.
What do I do? Do I just go ahead and send a full refund or do I get him to post them back? Also, if he does post back, am I liable for the cost?
I know I kind of shot myself in the foot by saying "perfect fine other than the blue marks" but I did say they are used and not to expect a brand new pair.
Can someone advise me? Thanks.

Offer a full refund on return of them.
You don't have to refund the return p&p, however if on return you check them & they are split, I would refund the return p&p as well.0 -

So I get him to send them back. Cool. Hand on my heart and I am not lying, they were not split when I sent them, so unless the pilot took them out of the parcel and wore them and split them, I don't know what's going on. Confused dot com.0 -
And if he says he wants to keep them and have a refund or a partial refund tell him where to stuff it and let him open a dispute, eBay will only come to the same decision, refund on return0

Hmmm. Told him to send them back for a full refund. Now he is getting horrible and saying I am dishonest and a liar, so why have I got over 1100 positive feedback? He went onto say "I have purchased lots of items off of eBay and I expect the best quality". I guess if 31 items is lots, then so be it.
I was actually thinking of letting the toe rag keep the jeans and give him a refund as well, what with it being Xmas and to be fair, I can't be bothered with the hassle, but now I am just totally riled. Errrrr!0 -
Just tell him that if he wants the highest quality you'd recommend he shops at https://www.harrods.co.uk or https://www.selfridges.com0

If anyone expects the "best" quality they shouldn't be buying second hand unseenIt may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type0

I'd stick to my guns of refund only on return.0

I had someone try this on with me, even threatened me and all sorts. Don't let it bother you, just tell him to return or no refund. And stick to your guns. You can be pretty sure he has done this before and intimidated money out of other sellers. Mine even threatened to 'come and rip my head off''.0

Oh. He has gone and left me negative feedback. So does that mean I just let it go? I don't have to refund him now do I or do I? Confused. Sad as this is my first ever negative feedback. I offered him a full refund when he returned them to me!0

I would say feedback concludes the sale and wouldn't do anything else until either he opens a dispute or you get the jeans backIt may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type0
