NHS or local council?

Hi Guys
Been working for the same dept for 20 years, over the years our contract was sold from the NHS to private firms and currently my payslip states the NHS as well as the local council, a partnership NHS trust. Redundancy will be hitting us in late January, my question is..
in terms of redundancy..
local council only pays 1.5 weeks per working year
NHS can pay from 1-3 weeks per year..2 weeks on average
i have worked for the NHS for some 14/15 years..would my redundancy payment be from the local council or the NHS or a combination?
So much red tape...i really do not know.
Can someone please advise?
Thanks
Ann

I don't think anyone on this board can tell you exactly as it is individual. Each partnership should clearly state which employer is responsible for which employees.
You should have documents sent to you at each transfer stating t&c (I had a drawerful, so many transfers!) but rather than try to find them or wade through them, go to your HR department and ask them. Your union should also know what is going on.
Can I add as an aside, make sure you are signed up to NHS Discounts - they will keep you on when you retire / are made redundant and some of the discounts are worthwhile.
Good luck0
