Halifax Mortgage Do They Owe Us Money?

I wouldnt take offence to anyone saying that you should pay the £5,000 off your mortgage and to do anything else is madness! its the way we think on here, I've only scanned through the thread and you havent mentioned credit card bills so not aware of any if you have them. To potentially make the £5k work hardest for you overtime would be to pay it off the mortgage, but as you say everybodys circumstances are different and just after xmas the need to pay off any credit cards would be high on any agenda!
What everybody doesnt want is to see just you just squander the 5k away (which i'm sure you wont as you are posting on here to start, so you are in good company) Sometimes us MFW's can be seen pulling our hair out when we hear of such missed opportunities so dont mistake what you see as someone having a a bit of go for just plain blunt advice which most of the time has the most effect anyway!
Great news though, 5k just after xmas!!!!!!!!Millionaire in Training
