Hi all, I am looking for something to fit to external opening french doors to do the following.
1 Stop the door flying open in the wind
2 Stop the door slamming shut in the wind.
3 Lock the door in the open position when required.
We get a lot of wind on the terrace and can see this will be a problem when we fit these doors.

Timber doors? or Upvc? If they are timber you can fit an overhead door closure which will stop the door flying open then to keep it open fit a cabin hook to a wall.......0

Can you not just fit a cabin hook so it holds it where you want it? From what I can make out you want the doors to be open a certain amount but not fully?0

Thanks for replies, we are probably going to get the doors from Wickes, plastic with metal reinforcing. problem is that we are in a terrace of town houses that are very exposed at the back. The wind is so strong that it will be difficult to hold the door when opening it, so am thinking of something hydraulic but not a closer as we want to leave the doors open in summer.0

You can get hydraulic door closers which have a 'hold open' facility.
