What can I do ? So annoyed!

I sell an item on eBay for charity, the charity benefits from all sales, only costs is the listing fee as I get the other donated

Anyway some evil person who must be so greedy  has bought an item and is copying them to sell on to make money themselves.

They are even using my description apart from the charity donation! It's made me so blooming angry!

Right where do I stand ? Any ideas ?

Part of me is so tempted to pay the person a personal visit, they live round the corner from a friend I am visiting soon, just to tell them what a greedy pig I think they are! Amongst other choice names!

TIA for any help on this
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Well if they are even using your description i think you should complain to ebay - apart from that i don't really know. But im sure someone will get more technical than that for you and give some other ideas!

You, as the seller can report copying of your auctions.
Got into the help section and search
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
  • definitely report them and get their listings pulled. Only thing is they'll probably try it again and just modify the listing slightly. You could send him a message via 'contact seller' but I doubt it'll make any difference.

Think I did it right, came up with the Vero contact details, just wait for a message back now I guess.

She hasn't left feedback yet and neither had I, do I mention it and stick a neg on for her just being a greedy b***h ? So tempted but she could neg me back I suppose and I have over 300+ 100% positive feedback

click on Report This Item at bottom of listing page,

    then choose,
    Copying of your listing,
Seller copied your listing without permission,
click Continue and then click Email Us....
the item number automatically gets filled in for you, press send.

Then you can enter a description of what was copied.

What kind of item is it?

You can set yourself up as the VERO if the 'work' or item is your own, so that you can protect it.

If they're making money out of something that they don't have the rights to, throw the ruddy book at them!

I have just been looking into this fay thanks, yes it's my own work, bloomin countless hours of it. It is a CD containing this work. Reported the items, unfortunately one has just sold. Still no reply, probably will take weeks. Loose fair in people when things like this happen!

Definitely set up as a VERO before someone else starts trying to sell it!

I've emailed them to ask how I go about this, thanks for all your help, really appreciate this, I did think people were too human to do something like this, it's really disgusted me, maybe I trust people too much!
