Lloyds double repayment

Im not sure what to do, I received my payment for my PPI, then 1 week later I received the same payment.

I contacted Lloyds by phone that day and emailed Andrea Barry a few days after as the guy on the phone said he would get someone to ring me and they didnt.

A.B said I would get a letter advising what to do as they are unable to take the money back directly but as yet nothing has turned up, this was about 6 weeks ago now.

I have phoned and was told there is no record of the payment or that I have called, luckily I have the email to A.B.

I sent another email 2 weeks ago but no response to that either.

Money now sitting in a savings account, might as well make some money off this.

My OH reckons they are in such a mess they will never ask for it back, fingers crossed.
  • You've informed them and asked what to do next, so you've covered yourself.

They will probably run a 'duplicated payments' audit at some stage, and match it up then. In the meantime, keep the money safe and let it make some interest for you while you wait. :D

Exactly what I thought, nice little bonus after all the mucking about waiting for them to pay me.
