15mm Floorboards

I have some broken floorboards in a room I am renovating and thought replacing them would be a fairly straight forward job. Problem is they are 15mm thick and 144mm wide. Having been to B&Q and Wickes they only seem to do 18mm or 20.5mm thickness.

I would like to find somewhere that does do 15mm thickness if anyone knows of anywhere??
Failing that, what is the best (cheapest) option:

1. Relay whole upstairs with 18mm!!
2. Get 18mm and get a timber place (if I can find one) to cut 3mm off (is that even possible)?
3. Use wood filler to patch up the broken off chunks.

Any other suggestions welcome?

If it makes a difference, the flooring will be carpeted eventually.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Wickes bamboo flooring is intended to be an overlay, not a floor on its own.

15mm is quite thin anyway - is your floor springy?

What centres are your joists at?

Springy? Not that I am aware of. It feels like every other floor I have ever walked on.

I'm sorry I have no idea what centres of my joists means?

the distance between two joists as measured from centre to centre.
    usually 400mm or 600mm.

Like Ormus says, go to your local independent timber merchant. They can cut it to any length and most have a 'thicknesser' to plane it down to the correct thickness.
