  • No I'm an accountant and they are excellent for site visits. Much like solicitors with them on the way to court. I'm impressed I managed to show self-discipline and resist temptation.

I only see solicitors carry these on their way to court. They are too small for weekend trips I think. So unless you are a solicitor, I think you made the right decision.

I think this is the best deal out there for this.

I have installed Opera browser today and have no problem with the John Lewis site - super, super quick!!! Just browse the 'regular' site - don't go into the 'Clearance section specially and all the offers appear in the categories anyway.
DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!

This is the worst site ever. I can't be bothered. I bought a dishwasher recently and was impressed with the delivery, invoicing and guarantee but this is too much bother. I waited 10 minutes for the page to load. Come on, its Christmas eve and I have better things to do. If they want any more of my money this is not the way to get it
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

  • Most of the things I wanted to buy are now OOS, I thought the economy was bad!? Obviously not for John Lewis shopper. I was so naive that I thought I could wait for further reduction. :(
