items often show as no-stock before the beginning of the sale, but stock levels change when the sale starts.
  • This is NOT a clearance preview. This is just telling us when the sale starts.

There is a lot of items which are not being shown on the website. Check back on Christmas eve. I saw a red price ticket for a Miele S6210 vacuum for £139.99 in my local store today and it's not on the website.

I have a Miele vacuum cleaner and have to say it is the best. Beat the Dysons hands down. £139.99 is a lot less than I paid for my one! Bet there isn't many available though so be quick.

  • Dog slooooooooooooooooooow !!
  • The sale looks pants this year. Nearly everything I find in clearance is a John Lewis own brand product discounted by 30%. Nothing wrong with JL own brand but was looking mostly at kitchenware that would be much cheaper than elsewhere.

It started early at 4:50 and the site ran fine till 5pm on the dot.

Perservere - I got two light fittings I've been eyeing up half price. Also had a £25 gift voucher from when MrTeapot left his old job, so after that I spent £45 instead of original price £140. :D

Nothing to shout about as far as I can see, although in the past, the real bargains haven't appeared for a couple of days.
