Car Insurance Question
When I was a young driver, I remember being told that car insurance only covered you when you were on public roads and that if you had a bump in a super market car park/your office grounds/army camp etc you weren't insured! Was that true and if so, is it still true?

Well its certainly not true now. I am of course far too young to know if it ever was true:D
I can give you two examples where insurance covered the bump. One was in the private car park where I work, where one driver hit another while reversing out.
The other was in the "patrons only" car park of the Royal Mail sorting office. Again, insurance sorted it with no quibbles.0 -
Thanks button isn't working, so thanks very much for answering!0
