Please follow the excellent advice given in post 4 and post the answers. Also post your annual kWh consumption. Quoting your DD amounts will not help solve the problem.
How could the installation of a smart meter break your room 'stat? They wouldn't have gone anywhere near it.No free lunch, and no free laptop

My God, you definitely need to get the meters or whatever checked! I live in a 3 bed detached and am also with EDF. I provide quarterly readings and my summer DD is £50/month (for BOTH Gas and Leccy) and my winter DD is £80 (again, COMBINED!!)
On the plus side, if you can get this sorted and there has been some kind of mistake you may be entitled to a rebate??
