Do M&S reduce food?

  • They seem to go through the common reduction process, i.e. they reduce something by very little initially (e.g. form £4.99 to £4) and then to 10p/50p. I can't detect a regular pattern regarding the timing though :(.

my local M&S doesnt have many reductions, it is a very busy store so only the leftover odds and ends from the bakery get reduced
  • they don't reduce much, they usually sell out rather than over stock in my experience,
the staff buy alot of it at the end of the day (i know 2 people who work there)
and if they do reduce it isn't buy much, now is the time to buy there as there are ALOT of christmas items reduced in my local one for TEN PENCE! would you belive

I've bought reduced items in m & s, they leave them in the section where they should be in my local store.

    No 'reduced' area.

Doesn't get sold to staff. Every shop has a waste target to hit so they will try and sell it for as much as possible.

If there is anything left after closing then it's up to the manager if there is a staff shop.
