I'm an idiot. Can I cancel Ticketmaster tickets?

Ok, so it's late and I was just messing around on Facebook. Basically followed a link that says Jeff Dunham (whom I love) is on a UK tour next year during the week of hubby's birthday. No tickets available at MEN arena but some in Newcastle. I then snap them up even though Newcastle is over 200 miles away, I figured I'd suffer for the cause. However, after searching a little further, I find that some tickets at MEN are still available.
Question: Is there any way I can get a refund on the first set of tickets? I would rather not lie about family emergencies etc.
If not, I've seen that you can resell them through 'Get Me In' site (via Ticketmaster) However, I haven't done this before, how long until I get the tickets, to then resell?
Oh yeah, and problem number 3, as my hubby's just politely reminded me ~ we move house in January and obviously tickets will come here. What do I do about that?
I know, I know, I'm a complete idiot. But any advice would be gratefully received

No, you cannot cancel, irrespective of the reason.
AFAIAA you do not need to be in possession of the tickets to sell them on Get Me In.
You need to email Ticketmaster and advise them of your new address.0
