Our first priority is to be able to pay the bills for the lovely vets and kennels that we work with and without whom we could not operate – this does include the funds for poor Zookie’s tail amputation http://www.rochdale-dog-rescue.com/Vets_Appeal.html. In order to be able to do this we have a number of fundraisers – please do have a look and help support us.

Please take a look at our new RDR Lifeline section – individual and unique gifts can be purchased to directly help the dogs. When you purchase a gift from the Lifeline section, ALL the money goes to what you have paid for. The present recipient will then receive a gift card telling them about their gift and as there are no admin or postage fees what you pay for is exactly where the money goes. We are planning on running a post Christmas Auction so please do hang onto any unwanted gifts ready for listing – or if you have any items which may be of use for a Tombola or unwanted books are always popular on our fundraising stalls.

Lastly if anyone has any unwanted blankets, duvets, dog coats or bedding the dogs would love to have them as bedding to help keep them cosy as the weather gets colder – most of our dogs are Staffies who really do feel the cold and we need to keep them snuggly whilst they wait for their forever home or rescue space.
