    unlikely i think.

Can you prove the garage did not damage the part when fitting?

Sorry, I meant unlikely. I can't prove anything. Think I will just have to cut my losses. :(

My garage refused to even entertain the notion of re-using ABS sensors or associated parts, because of the problems they've had in the past.

It was either complete hub, or brand new parts.

Ill tell you what they may of done , they may of installed the bearing back to front with the magnetic part of the bearing that activates the ABS on the wheel side rather than the driveshaft side. this is easily done. what make of car is it?

Just a lesson learned I fear.

I'd buy very few things off ebay, certainly not bearings.

And I'm very surprised the garage fitted them in the first place, work must have been slow.

No they obviously havent as you cant install them back to front as they are bolted in however the abs sensor is part of the bearing when you get a new one and it is easly damaged on fitment especially if you bolt the bearing in in the wrong postion if i remember correctly they are held in by 3 bolts so you can fit it a third of a turn out from where its supposed to be if they are saying sensor problem they have done the damage without a doubt on fitting
