Mid November we order a complete bathroom suite from these Muppets including some gloss white cupboards. When we ordered we were given a delivery date of November the 22nd so I arranged to take the day of work – the day before we were due to get our delivery we received a phone call saying that they could not deliver on the agreed date and gave us no reason other than to say it was computer error. On the 30th of November they sent us a text message saying our bathroom would be delivered on the 1st of December so I took the day off and sat around waiting – by late afternoon still no delivery so I decided to phone Victoria Plumb and ask what time my delivery would arrive as in the text I had been told between 11.20am and 14.20pm, they then told me that due to another computer error that we would not be getting our delivery and that they would arrange a new delivery date – we finally took delivery of our bathroom furniture etc on the 5th of December. Once we unpacked everything we discovered that the shower unit we ordered from them was missing so we phoned them to see about getting a replacement, the woman on the other end of the phone seemed to think that after all the problems we had with them not getting a shower unit was quite funny – so much so that she spent a good portion of the call giggling to herself. She told us she was unable to authorise a replacement or refund without speaking to someone else and promised me that she would call me back. To be fair she did actually call back – she left a message on my answer phone saying that as far as Victoria Plumb were concerned they had sent the shower unit as it had been listed on their paperwork and that Victoria Plumb would not be replaying it and that was the end of the matter.

Not only have Victoria Plumb had the money we paid them for the shower but we then still had to go out and buy another shower unit and so paid twice.

I think it is pretty safe to say that Victoria Plumb is the worst online company I have ever dealt with and I would never ever buy anything from this company ever again. Victoria Plumb customer service is absolutely disgusting – staff seems to have little interest in helping customers.

We are currently looking to see if it’s possible to do a credit card charge back for the cost of the shower unit along with a solicitor’s letter to get back the money for the two days off we had to take – especially the second day as they sent a text message saying they were going to deliver.

In future I will still well clear of this company and to be honest I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

If the Directors of Victoria Plumb question anything I have written above then I challenge you to take me to court! Because I will go on to every forum I can find to tell people just how useless you really are!
