Parcel Monkey - Restricted Collections

They really have let us down! We have been using Parcel Monkey for the last 12 months generally with no problems. Last week on checking their website we were advised about collections and christmas deliveries and collections with City Link, all seemed reasonable.
This week on trying to book our usual collections in we have been told that a restriction has been put on our post code due to high volume and that they cannot carry out their service. No warning or anything.
We decided to check with City Link who advised there were no such issues. As far as we can see Parcel Monkey have stopped collections from the entirity of the South West! Not great when you are trying to run a business.
Anyway, all booked in with Parcel2go, no problems and collected as usual. Deliveries being made on schedule.
Will not be using Parcel Monkey any more.

Maybe they've lost a major contract?

I always use ParcelMonkey over P2Go as the 24hr CityLink service is much cheaper

Have you checked recently P2Go are cheaper! It says a 2 days service but according to our collection driver they only do next day!

Just looked, 7p cheaper at P2G. Every little helps I guess

Although it's a 2 day service, but I have used it in the past and most of the time did actually arrive next day!

Parcel monkey phone number ! 08448076105 ! If they say there go travel its a load of crap parcel monkey own the company :cool:

Parcel 2 Go may be a little bit more but you know your get the customer service from them ! unlike the monkeys who take 24 hours to respond :@

Interparcel.com use the same companies as p2go and charge the saem, but you get £50 insurance instead of £25(p2go recently lowered theirs from £50).

So if they say they are go travel it's not a load of bull... whether they own parcelmonkey or not, the number is still infact go travel!

Also the staff at that number are unlikely to be trained to deal with PM issues and possibly don't even have access to the systems.

Trust me they do. Range it a few times (always same guy) and it got sorted then and there instead of the stupid ticket system. Only trying to help you guys out don't need to shot me down !
