Pension payment date

Our state pensions are paid on a Monday every week, as this coming Monday is Boxing Day, will they be paid early? Possibly on the 23rd?

What about the following week? Is the 2nd a BH too?

They are normally paid on the previous working day when the due day is a bank holiday.

Last week our pensions were in the bank on the Thurs 22nd. Not in today though. Mon and Tues are bank hols here (Scotland) but I think not in England. Would this account for it? So they will be in tomorrow ?

I expect mine to be in the bank tomorrow.

Notice in our post-office (Scotland) said pensions would be in on 30 December. They were in on 22 December last week.

Monday seems to be a BH in England, but not Tuesday.

We too got our pensions on Dec. 22nd for this week, I had expected it to be the 23rd. Presumably we will get them tomorrow for next week.

DH's is in today. It goes in 4 weekly on a Tuesday usually - not the same date each month.
