I have a 'gift voucher' for a restaurant. It was a present from relatives and is in the form of a sheet of headed paper from the restaurant stating that the value is £30.00, authorised by Miss X general manager but signed by Mr Y and dated2/11/2009. There is no expiry date. Is it still valid ?
The company have recently opened a new restaurant in the chain in myy local town, is the voucher valid there ?

Hmm,
Would it not be a good idea to contact Miss X or Mr Y and ask them?
I would say it is unlikely though, over two years old and for a different branch, possibly even a franchise with different owners?
Is it even transferable from your relatives to you?0 -
It shouldn't have expired without an expiry date but may only be valid at the issuing restaurant if it is a franchise etc.Thinking critically since 1996....0
