HDNL Praise

Options
Yes, you read the title right :rotfl:

I have done all of my Xmas shopping online this year, the majority of it through Amazon and I would like to say how impressed I am with HDNL. We get the driver from the Reading Depot and he is fab. If I'm not in he will always leave with a neighbour, and I leave specific instructions eg. leave in shed he will always do this and make sure he leaves a note to say exactly where it is.

As I run a company, I've had experiences - bad and good with loads of different couriers and these have been by far the best. I guess it depends on the amount of common sense the driver has, but our one is brilliant.

  • Nice one...it's easy to complain, but great to hear good for a change.

It very much depends on the area.

Personally, I've never had any problems with HDNL or their predecessors or successors, Citi-link, or RM (well, except for the fact that they keep changing our postman so that as soon as one learns the ropes and deliveries come back from 2:00pm to 11:30 they are off and it's back to 2:00pm).

I love cheese, but this all sound far too cheesy, even for me :)
  • I must admit that I've never had any problems with them before now. However I think that might be about to change.

I've been tracking my last Christmas present for the last few days and started to relax when I saw that it had been loaded onto the van this morning.

I checked the web site again at 17:30 to discover that, as of 18:47, the parcel had been returned to the depot.

Have they finally sorted out time travel then?
  • Absolute tosh.

Not only do HDNL no longer exist, but also they (yodel) are wrecking this Xmas for people. They have major issues internally and are having backlogs.

Its nice to know a few parcels are getting through. Correspondingly there are people on here having issues with DPD. I've had a sucessful delivery from them yesterday which only took 1 day to reach me so it looks like I am in one of their 'good' areas right now.
  • They still exist in Reading, and have delivered to me about 8 times this month so far. I've never seen a Yodel van though... even when driving around.
