New Year, New Car - Volco C30

I hope to change my car next summer and am looking for advice. My current interest is in the Volvo C30. Don't mind whether petrol or diesal.

Do any C30 owners on here have views they could share?

A friend has one - great car if you don't need to use the back seats or the boot! Volvo servicing and parts can be eyewatering.

I like them, just drive like a focus (as that's what they are) but have a nicer interior, found the boot fine too though I hardly need to carry much. Was the bigger diesel (d5?) So went well too

As a massive Volvo bore i have heard bad things about the C30,poor build quality,rattles,clutch and suspension failures and recalls.I heard from a Volvo mechanic that since Geely have taken over the quality is not as it used to be,this is his quote.

Quite frankly I would not have one full stop after speaking to a technician about the P3's. His reply summed it up. 'they are !!!!, made of cheap crap and I wouldn't bother with anything past the P2's.'
