Veka windows - decent kit?

Right, after much consideration on this (I think I originally posted months ago looking for a decent price) we look close to making a purchase.
The company is a small one, almost but not quite local (25 miles away) and they are offering us 8 Veka windows, custom made (and we do have some large windows) for £3700 inc VAT they are also going to replace all the window sills and surrounds with mahogany so not too bad. Tilt and turn top floor etc etc.
The company itself is fairly new, 2009 incorporated, i checked companies house but the 10 year guarantee is insurance backed (apparently).
I can't find them on FENSA though and being a bit new there aren't any reviews out. To be honest they seem a fairly straight operator, chap didn't try any hard sell or tricks, just gave us a price which is £500 lower than the nearest we had from another firm, much more professional looking but using Profile22 for the frames.
So, in summary, despite the ramble, does this seem a decent deal for Veka? They seem a big enough firm but big doesn't always = quality and if they are supplying a good insurance backed product I'm more tempted to let the newness of the firm slide.
That and no payment needed until job complete which is the right way to do things.

What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

Cheers. I'm more concerned whether it's decent kit at the moment. I'm guessing so but I don't want some cheapo stuff even if I'm trying to save cash!

EDIT this firm don't seem part of that official network. Wonder how that affects things? What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Veka have been manufacturing windows and doors etc., for many years now and their units are comparable with any other mass produced units on the market nowadays.
I had their windows, front door and patio doors fitted here three years ago by a small local Fensa registered company and in a previous property for over ten years and have no complaints or problems, I think the standard of installation is more important as the units are reasonable quality and durable if fitted properly.0
