pre paid currency card

Options
on advise on a money programe earlier this year when preparing for going on holiday
i applied and received a fairfx card which i duly activated and received a pin number
i then loaded it with £600 receiving 670 in euros
whilst on holiday on gran canaria itried to access my card but appeared to have the wrong pin number
i then tried to contact fairfx by telephone using the no fairfx supplied this failed as number unobtainable
i then tried to contact them using the hotels computers again to no avail
this caused me a great deal of trouble as i was relying on this money card

on returning to the uk i contacted fairfx and asked for the money to be returned
they said they would trasfer my money back for a fee of £10
i said this was unfair as it proved impossible to contact them whilst on holiday
they then said they would drop the £10 and duly sent me my money at a loss of £37

looking at the comments on the internet people could not understand how they could be so good
and how did fairfx make a profit
i think i could tell them

a fool and his money are soon parted or there's no fool like an old fool
