Hi Mummy,
Hope you are keeping well.
I dont think £54 sounds too bad considering you got food, 3 pairs of shoes and some shorts! Could have been worse!
Fingers crossed for the heating bills come winter xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thank you both for popping by
Pips mum im also trying to put a alittle into MrTs saving thing, pay in a little when I can (More when I remember aswell!!:p) and hope that by xmas there will be a little in there aswell and they give a little extra as a bonus aswell. Im also saving any clubcard points to double up (fingers crossed they do it again) We have a few already as got a big bonus for taking out car insurance with them (plus they were by far the cheapest anyway)
mtg I didnt do to bad but Ive had to go back to the shops today lol.
So yesterday was a small spend day, had to get some toilet roll and sugar as couldnt wait for either. Today Ive had a big spend, I went to Aldi as fruit has run out and needed lots of other bits aswell. I spent £50.33. Ive also got a £5 of £40 MrT voucher so Will use that over the weekend for things we need from there.
I am going to do the Grocery challenge again this mth so it makes me keep a eye on what we spend etc. Im setting a high £500 for the mth but I dont think thats tooooo bad for all us lot, will be for everything including nappies/wipes for 2 and all cleaning bits etc....
Tomorrow will be a spend day as the kids have a Jubilee fun day at school, so will need spends for bouncy castle and tomboller etc im sure.GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Well it should be pay day today for DH but its not gone in again yet!! So ill be checking the internet banking all day untill its in there! It better go in today....... I have had the child benifit go in today early as it was due on tues but think they must have done it early due to the bank holiday.
I am worried about the pay as last mth we had a BIG shock and DH was paid 1300 less then he should have beenso we had to borrow from his parents. So we are in even more debt and will be paying them £50 a mth till its all paid back
So I REALLY hope I dont get another horrible shock today...........
Yesterday I made a little (very little) over payment as I took the little odd pennies out from the bank before payday. It was just for £1.99 but ever little helps??????Doesnt it.... I will try and make a little extra over payment at the end of the day by rounding down the bank.

It went in all fine thank goodness!! I was worried lol. They really are useless at remembering, DH had to phone and check it was going in and they said yeah will do it in a bit!!! Not helpfull with my worry as if they dont do it before 1pm it wont go in that day!!
Spent a fortune at the school today! Costs soooo much when you have to do most things 4/5 times over! Ohwell the kids had fun and enjoyed all the ice lollys/cakes/bouncy castle/lucky dips/hook a duck etc etc
Im so tired tonight so going to go up to bed soon. We have been trying something new with the kids and bedtimes as they have always gone down all together but now we are doing staggered bedtimes which is taking longer but its nice to get some quiet time with the older ones. What kind of things do any of you do at bedtimes?? xGC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Phew Mummy, im glad DH's wage got paid in. The fact that they say they will do it "in a bit" is really not acceptable is it!
Yay to your £2 coin and the rounding down to the CC.. well done you :T xxMummytogirls x0 -
Phew have had a very busy and lovely bank holiday weekend. We have spent a bit though as had fetes etc to go to, but stayed in the budget I set so all is fine
I have spent a little more on shopping (£37.04) So will add it to the sig in a min.
Got another £2 to add to tin (£72 now)
But not much more news on the DFW side of things........
Must go as got lots to do still and kids are watching a DVD in bed which is soon to finish.GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Hi Mummy,
I cant totally relate to spending, we spent £30 up at the local recreational pitch at the jubilee party yesterday. Could not believe it !
Hope the kids sleep in with having a late night xxMummytogirls x0
